Last night I read an article on NU.NL. It stated that Peter Breedveld was sued for a post on his Blog. Since I am blogging as well I was interested in the content of the topic and how this could affect the way BLOGGERs are profiling or writing their stories.

Well Peter shared his experiences with Vodafone with the (internet) world and mentioned the name of the callcenter employee which "sold" him a contract, including a nice ‘new’ phone. You can read his anger and disappointment in the topic, but I was interested in the details behind the names and people…

Peter Breedveld had replace the name of the employee with *s, but this BLOG is about wisdom to the mass, so here’s the story of my quest for information and knowledge. First I wanted to know more about this Peter Breedveld and the way he has become a respected BLOGGER.

I found a lot hits in Google searching his name. While reading some of the material I stumbled upon the BLOG of a person also called BREEDVELD. On one of his topics, he is reacting on the situation of Peter and Vodafone, and there was WISDOM !!! I got my name and could use GOOGLE to do my search for more information, knowledge and WISDOM.

In my final search I found the total name of the callcenter employee and all the sites where HER name was mentioned. In Latin they say: Sapientia est potentia (Wisdom is Power). In this case GOOGLE provided me with the power to get my information from the total collection of data. With this little knowledge, I found wisdom (and the name of the lady) !!!

In one of my former BLOG topics, you could have read I am in the process of selecting a new phone (and provider, because Vodafone does not reward their existing customers with nice ‘new’ phones). I now known that I have to be careful for certain people… They might even sue you for mentioning their name on your BLOG and get 500 euro’s out of it. Well she earned herself a nice little bonus, but on the other hand blasted the image of Vodafone (as if they had a good one)…
